CHECK IT: Joshua James "The New Love Song"

My friend Rico's record label, Intelligent Noise, is home to musician and song-writer Joshua James. We've had the good fortune of seeing him live at a showcase and he really is something special. The vid is helmed by Utah-based director Julian Acosta who we've also had a chance to meet on his latest trip out to Los Angeles. Needless to say I think the both of them will go far with the talent they've got. Check out "The New Love Song" by Joshua James HERE.

RELEASED: Zebrahead "Hell Yeah" and "The Juggernauts"

Sometimes videos takes so long to get released that you forget to post them when they're done. In August, Director Elliot Dillman shot two videos with Pandaworks for the band Zebrahead. Both videos show the band in different lights, "Hell Yeah" being more action packed and "The Juggernauts" taking a more relaxed, reflective tone. Please enjoy the videos below (terrible Youtube video quality) and look out for a link to the high quality versions when they get uploaded to the Pandaworks site!

SHOT: Zebrahead - Director, Elliot Dillman

Videos "Hell Yeah!" and "The Juggernauts"

Following the success of Zebrahead's video "Mental Health" in Japan (shown 140 times on Japanese TV in the month of July), Pandaworks director Elliot Dillman was called upon by Sony to create not one but two more eye-catchers for the songs "Hell Yeah!" and "The Juggernauts". From the band shooting underwater to Ali rapping out of the sunroof of a moving Range Rover, the two videos covered a variety of styles and captured them with Elliot's usual glossy touch. Samuel Brownfield was the director of Photography and Brant Barger and Spence Nicholson produced. Picture from the set of "The Juggernauts". More photos to come.....

PS. While I was scanning Postcards from Hell, a Zebrahead fan blog, I noticed an article in the Orange County register that stated that Zebrahead's new album debuted at no. 1 in Japan over new releases by Coldplay and Offspring. While the guys in Zebrahead never mentioned it to us, it's exciting news and should be known!

NEW RELEASE: Steel Train "I Feel Weird"

The new video for New Jersey artists Steel Train was released last Tuesday on Spin Magazine's website Spin.com. "I Feel Weird", helmed by Pandaworks director Spence Nicholson, aimed to catch the Drive-Thru artists at what they do best: Perform. Spin apparently thought so as well. They had this to say about the vid:

"... nowhere is the band's sound -- and live energy -- more evident than in the vigorous, colorful music video for "I Feel Weird," which sees the boys jamming out against a faux sunset backdrop, jangling to the decidedly upbeat, melodic tune as frontman Jack Antonoff sounds off."

Thanks Spin for the shout out!

Check out the rest of the article and the new video for Steel Train's "I Feel Weird" here at Spin.com
